I live an hour away and just heard about it, what does it matter if you're out of the country or not?

Oh you wanted to let everyone know that you're out of the country, right?

My son texted me at 3:30 this morning saying he had taken cover. Didn't hear from him again until 6:30. Pretty unsettling for some dicks to make jokes about

My cousin goes there and her dorm's lobby was destroyed. Luckily, she and most others are OK.

I'm about 45 minutes south of Hattiesburg. I was up at about 4:15 this morning. It was raining and windy, but I didn't think it was that bad. Surprised to hear it was awful in Hattiesburg.

Girlfriend goes to USM. Called me about 3:45 in the morning. She was yelling into the phone, panicking. It was scary. I'm glad she is safe but my prayers are to the people at William Carey and their families. Hattiesburg is full of great people. They will bounce back.

A bunch of my fraternity brothers still live there. Really bad damage to William Carey.

From what I hear there are two dead.

Took out William Carey University. Also hit Petal's Main Street hard (same area hit 3 years ago), the Wal-mart shopping center, and neighborhoods nearby. Major home damage. Looks to be a decent-sized tornado.

Prayers sent to Hattiesburg. Mississippi is more of the underrated states when it comes to severe weather. We often think of the plains with tornadoes and the Midwest when it comes to ice storms, but they are susceptible to both along with hurricanes and they also get a lot of hail storms.

He made a totally made up lie about dead bodies all over the campus dorm building. Making false statements like that can literally cause a parent who might read something like that have a damn heart attack.

Thank you to the admins for removing his comment so promptly.
