Wordle is fun. It’s just challenging enough to make you think a little, but not so challenging that you don’t get the word every time. Kind of like the old Daily Reveille crosswords, which were very easy but interesting enough to pass the time.

I play it. 14/14 so far. My best is three guesses. It is fun in its simplicity. And I kind of like having to wait between rounds.

I think that’s what really has fueled it’s popularity. If it was just an app with unlimited words then it would be played for a day or two and forgotten about.

I've been playing for a week. I've gotten it in 3 twice and in 4 the rest of the time. You can set it to Hard Mode in the settings.

It’s an enjoyable way to get you thinking in the morning. Just a modern day version of a crossword puzzle, though. I don’t quite understand what all the buzz is about…

I thought about trying it. Read this thread. Then tried it and got it on my first guess. Not really very challenging.

My buddies in our group text have decided 4 steps is the norm, so we treat it like par 4 golf.
I've gotten every one in 3, 4 or 5. I'm - 5 after 14 days. Basically 7 times I've gotten it in 3, 5 times 4, and twice on 5 tries.

Hm, not sure. All it said for hard mode is that you have to use the clues that were given in previous attempts. I was already doing that so I haven't noticed a difference.
