Me too, likely a better one than you. I can go and have fun because I know it’s not golf.
It's not golf? Really? There's not an 18 hole golf course inside the building? Duh shite, dude...
I like when pretentious people on a message board think they're delivering that "gotcha" post.
I said I play golf and am not interested in Top Golf because I assumed that would lean unusual as most golfers like anything golf related. I wasn't saying that to be message board cool like you. Your post was so message board cool I can't even begin to explain how message board cool it was...
I like putt putt golf. Is that real golf or nah? I can't figure it out.
I would challenge you to a round of golf, but I never want to meet you or hang out with you. Have a good one.

It's fun for all. You don't need to know golf.
It's too expensive. That's the problem.

perfect for TG, no golfing skills required
For real
I've gone a ton with people that have maybe swung a golf club 1-2 in their life and they've all had a great time. There are plenty of games that don't require you to have any sort of accuracy, hell one just goes solely on distance.
The overwhelming majority of people there don't look like they've ever swung a club before, so I don't really give the argument that it isn't for people that aren't good at golf much validity. Is it harder than bowling? Sure. Unless you are someone that just can't have fun with your firends doing something you don't excel at, there is no reason you can't enjoy the games even if you suck.

I can still get a few over the back fence though
You’re in your 60s and can hit a flight restricted golf ball 300 yards in the air?
The winner of the senior division of the world long drive championship hit it 370 yards with a long driver and real ball. But you can CARRY a 50’+ tall net 240 yards away with a top golf driver and reduced flight ball
Oh look another 777tiger lie

I thought about this, 5-10 years max before they start closing and we have to look at their skeleton/abandoned building structures everywhere

Leagues on Monday night is a deal. About $100 for a team of six for 8 three hour slots. We usually run up the tab on pitchers, but a good time is had by all.

my wife, daughters (28 and 25) and M-I-L went during the day a few weeks ago at the beach when TG was half price. they had great time but found the waitress constantly pushing food/drinks was annoying. of the 3, only my youngest knew her way around a golf club.

Jmcc64, that sounds like a lovely family outing!
I believe that I speak for posters other than myself when I say that some photos would be much appreciated, especially those showing how the youngest knows how to handle the wood.
Thanks!

I, too, read this article. Doesn't bode well for our newly opened Topgolf.

Not when your on the water already and the boat has a 25 hp and is 20 years old and only cost 2200 bucks last year. It would cost more for me to get to top golf than to ride around for hours fishing and drinking beers

The conversation is not is it doing well now... it's will it continue to do well... I think OP has some valid points suggesting it may not
