This is truly fascinating.

quote:

In 2018, the death rate from influenza and pneumonia among persons aged =65 years was 93.2 deaths per 100,000 population.

Why did you include pneumonia in this stat? Pneumonia is a condition, a secondary effect of various diseases be it virus or bacteria. You could diagnose somebody very sick with COVID with pneumonia.

Very odd to throw that in there and act like you dropped the mic.

Even still you failed to look at younger vs old.

Let me help you.

Influenza is statistically 14 times more likely to kill somebody over 65 than it is someone between 19 and 45.

You wanna take a stab at guessing how many more times COVID is to kill someone 65+ than someone 19 to 45?

Moron.

BTW, the Spanish Flu killed more young people than old people.

You should be asking that question instead of subject. That is the rarity, not Covid.

Can you name one virus that killed ages 65+ 50x more than people between 18 and 44?

You do realize that Covid death stats are unreliable and exaggerated? Lots of deaths were attributed to Covid when it wasn't the main cause.

Due to how politicalized it became, we'll never have accurate information that both sides will trust.

Sad, but it's very much true.

The flu kills a ton of old folks every year. The china virus was basically just a worse version of the flu

Seems this virus attacks the elderly and obese disproportionally.

They kill in the same proportions? Do you have stats to back this up? It's mind-boggling that so many people think these things are all the same and are equal. TD is basically woke but for virii.

Of course

If you aren’t metabolically healthy, you won’t always survive a virus.

Do you think that all virii are the same in terms of having the same ratio of mortalities between old people and younger people?

So far I think we've established an unwillingness to even dig into that data.

Name one that is 50x more deadly to 65+ demographic than the 18-44 demographic. Influenza is only 13.8x more deadly for the older demographic.

Also, read up on the Spanish Flu. It contradicts your claim.
