No, was sad that he died but was over it after 1 hour of initially hearing the news. I have more important things to worry about.

When I heard the news I texted some friends saying dang, kobe died. Then I moved on.
It did make me listen to more music in the car instead of sports that day. I feel for everyone involved in the crash and their families, but I didn't need constant coverage and reactions.

Grow the hell up. The dude was a damn basketball player. He was a great player and all but it isn’t like he cured cancer or discovered fire......he was a man that’s it.

You serious?
A retired NBA player dies, and you can't function? C'mon man.

It’s not so much Kobe. It’s more that a 41 year old father and his 13 year old daughter died tragically in an accident leaving behind a grieving family.
I have two young daughters and a third on the way. My two girls ask me every morning if I am coming back when I leave for work. I can’t help but think what if today is the day that I don’t go back.

Has the Kobe tragedy made it hard for you to entertain small crap?
No.
I was like "Oh what? Kobe Bryant died?!..."
But then I just got on with the rest of my normal life.
