Canadian friend of mine tore up his kneee skiing and waited 6 Mos for an MRI

Speaking of India, I am not really a racist dude, except when it comes to doctors from India. Anyone else the same way?
Not the ones who were born in America, but the ones who came to the US and got their education here and now practices here
They’re terrible doctors or something?

I don’t, but I did sleep at a Holiday Inn Express a few months ago.
I dreamed we had transitioned from a republic to a Maoist society, where the rulers and microphones trapped us in an echo chamber, stating “You’re not hungry” while surfing trash cans for leftovers. Then I woke up.
Or did I?

US Health Care is the Best. My hip replacements were 2 weeks after diagnoses, the rest of the world the wait time was 6 months to a year.

There's not enough doctors as it is now. Can you imagine the disaster this would be in America....

You talking about all the countries that we pay their defense for?
U.S. Taxpayers pay the bill for Europe and Asia's defense. We practically paying for Ukraine's war against Russia as well. Seems only fair that Europe can pay for their people's Health insurance. In return the working U.S. taxpayers get a huge monthly bill just for having health insurance and get screwed even more if they ever have to use it. I never really read anywhere why we owe so much to Europe and Asia when most of these countries dont even like Americans.

When it comes to your ability to choose your doctor, your facilities and treatments, what's the difference between the government and your insurance company?
I'm not for government run healthcare, but insurance companies are just as restrictive and uncaring.
Before you blame any particular administration for the rise in healthcare premiums and costs, consider that all healthcare related costs have gone up and control over which doctor you can see have gone down dramatically over the last 50 years (far out-pacing increases in cost of living rates).
Insurance costs have increased their stranglehold on the average American family for the past 30-40 yrs.

In Spain. Healthcare is fantastic. In one day I can get an appt to see a dr. Literally no cost. Prescriptions are dirt cheap compared to the US (wife's monthly meds cost an avg of $300 in the US; in Spain 15e). Avg lifespan in Spain exceeds that of the US.
