I drink more than I should and know my limits well. I don’t get hammered unless I set out to do so these days. Last year I had some clients in town and they wanted to go to Tropical Isle of all places. The night was going fine and I had one or two drinks and then I woke up the next day at my hotel with an absolutely blank memory. It wasn’t something I had ever experienced before. Luckily the client and I are friends so it wasn’t a business problem. Guy knows me pretty well and said it was really strange. He said we were having a conversation and I got up, went to the bathroom and was a shite show when I came back. While I would find it strange for someone to drug you at your local regular bar, I have zero doubt I was roofied at Tropical Isle. I had heard for years that places on Bourbon drug tourists and then follow them outside for an easy mugging. Luckily I was with people who watched out for me.

Nashville two years ago. My wife and I went to dinner with some friends. We each had 2 glasses of wine then went around the corner to a bar. I ordered a Gin and Tonic because it was hot outside. Wife had the same, so did another in our group. Within about 10 minutes I was stripping off my jacket and the room was spinning. I was not coherent. She drug me to a cab and I swear that the 10 minute trip seemed like an hour. Once at the hotel, I laid down on the floor just inside the room and woke the next morning feeling fine, except for the fact that I left my favorite sport coat at the bar.

Yes, in Key West. Had two drinks with dinner. Don't remember anything until I became cognizant on Duval St., hours later. It was crazy. I had been able to walk almost a mile and I didn't do anything to get arrested. I always wondered if the waiter at the resort spiked the drink.

I wonder how many people you murdered while you were split out of it.

Once in high school we were having supper before a dance, I went to take a wiz and when I got back they had poured a salt shaker into my coke, I drank it anyway.
