I was diagnosed with this shite a few months ago. It's also called painful bladder syndrome. Basically it hurts when my bladder has urine in it. I never heard of this shite before and I don't know anyone with it. I was just curious if someone out there has it or has heard of it? It blows. Thanks

I have heard of this but not familiar with it at all. You have my sympathy. I know that this may sound like an OT response, but I am completely serious when I say that some form of cannibus may be very beneficial to you. Ask your doctor, it may help you manage the pain.

Thanks man. It is a chronic disease that must be managed but can't be cured. Supposed to stay away from alcohol, certain fruits, soft drinks, processed foods, tomato sauce. All the fun stuff. Anyway I thought about cannibis because I hate pain killers, but the stuff makes me paranoid.

My mom has IC.

It is a chronic and painful problem, but it became more manageable after she identified dietary irritants. She also takes Elmiron.

yes it can be depending on potency and how it is ingested. I will do some research. a family member has UC, I will see how they manage the pain. hang in there. Lots of water and lots of sleep seem to always help no matter what is wrong.

Yes I have it. I've got a permanently inflamed bladder which means, the nerves in my bladder essentially my brain it's time to pee and the bladder is full when in reality it is not . Alcohol makes me pee even more than normal. It can be tough to manage but I try to train my bladder and make myself hold it and not give in at first urge to eliminate .
There are medications you can try, I did, however I had bad headaches from them , which are a normal side effect and just decided to try to cope with it.

If you are a female, try getting pregnant. Some have been cured by it.
