We did in Houston, We were on Gessner and a large heavy truck ran the red light in front of us.
The phe was answered, their second comment, "was there an accident?" we said no and they said we only care if there was an accident.

At least, they were honest about how much they cared.

Not the hows my driving number, but the number of the local siding company. SOB passed me in town in the turning lane, so I dropped a dime, I thought it was best for the company to know. The lady who answered passed me to the owner of the company. He told me mine wasn't the first call that he had gotten on the guy, he told me "I've had enough I'll take care of it" and thanked me for the call. Truthfully I hate to see anyone lose their job, but if you drive like an idiot with your company plastered all over the side you get what you get.

A couple of years ago , in Moody/Leeds Alabama on I-20 a guy in a company Truck had road rage and fired shots at another vehicle.

Then tried to get away …. Smh

a-hole was driving 55-60 through a 30mph school zone.
I dropped a dime on him, and I'd do it again.

Yes, because the driver was not able to stay in his own lane and nearly hit a school bus. I spoke with a representative who agreed to contact the police.

“How’s My Driving?”

Company I used to work for decided to put them on the back of our vehicles

Many employees promptly changed the number 3 to an 8 with a Sharpie

2007 I-10 between Iowa and Chloe exit, commercial truck passed me on the shoulder, changed lanes multiple times. I caught up to him in traffic and called the number and it was answered. Same time guy gets back on the right shoulder and passes 3-4 more cars.
He had a passenger and the call lady he ain’t posses to have any riders and she was goin to shotgun down. I peeled off on 210 but should have followed to see him get stopped.

I worked for a company with marked sales trucks and delivery vehicles. We did not have the stickers encouraging call ins and still people called on the reg. Some of these folks appeared to be unhinged, 1 out of 5 had a legit reason

I was talking about Joe McKnight. But I said Saints and should have said NFL player. He didn’t ever play for the Saints.

I have called a few times to report an exceptionally courteous driver. Twice, the driver called to thank me.

One time, some assclown pulled in front of a big truck and the driver did a miraculous evasion. Car had kids in it and would have been t boned.

A local deputy stopped a guy in his work truck for a traffic matter. Did not write him a ticket but called his employer. Driver got fired. A ticket would have been better.

Talked to a guy at Turner last week who leaves his truck in a parking area instead of driving it home because he swears there are people out there who call them in as a prank . He feels like it’s a magnet for weirdos. I had literally never heard of this and didn’t really believe it until he started telling me stories. I didn’t know that was a thing.

There is a lot of that. You get some legitimate complaints that have to be addressed, but the majority are weirdos and pathetic people.

My company requires the calls to be logged and documented. You'll see shite like this:

"Hey, I wanted to let you know, someone in one of your work trucks is sitting in McDonald's eating." Call received at 12:18 pm on a workday

"Some yellow-haired bitch in one of your cars is flying down the interstate going 100 mph." Pull the fleet tracking software for the vehicle, and it shows the top speed was 72 mph.
