I’ve been in the Gulf South since 1970 and have not.

My little sister (no pics) has lived in South Louisiana her entire life and doesn't eat seafood. She is probably the UPS man's baby

I only know of 3 people with shellfish allergies who can't eat crabs, crawfish, shrimp, etc. and I really feel for them.
If they come to eat at my house I can't use even a hint of seafood stock in the dishes I cook or they could be hospital bound, and I have several quart bags of prepared stock with each of the above in my freezer.
l can't imagine living in La. and having to not eat shellfish.
