Has anybody rented one of those pedal party beer carts in Houston?

I am in a wedding this summer and there is going to be a wedding party trip to Houston in addition to the bachelor/bachelorette party. The groom wants to rent one of the pedal beer carts. How hard are they to pedal? A couple of the bridesmaids are large to holy shite in size and the groomsman in general are worried that if the maids won't pull their weight we will end up with a hell of a workout.

Why are there fat people in a wedding party you’re in? That’s trashy

Gross.

There's a motor on board to counteract you fatties.

If the issue is that you got some Big Uns coming along why are you even considering this? Just think about all that can go wrong. Be sure to take video so you can link it to the OT when one of them falls off their seat.

They aren't hard to pedal. You can move them with just one person. May not go terribly fast, but you can move it yourself without obscene effort.

They are fun with a good group. Boring with a boring group (obviously)

That looks fun as hell. It also seems like it would be a death trap

We've already discussed making sure they are not on the same side. This is not the groom or the groomsmens' idea. It will probably end up being fun because they are not boring people. We will probably hit up a few buffets.

EDIT: the trip is not the grooms idea. the pedal cart is. smh

Not that bad to pedal.

There are a couple of seats that don't have pedals and a bench on the back that doesn't have pedals.

There are a few spots that are uphill but it isn't bad.

The tour we did was two hours and we stopped at five different places about 10-15 minutes a stop.

It was fun, you plug in your music, they give you bar specials at the ones you stop at, and it’s easy to pedal

Did one in Nashville and lasted half a block. So worthless. You can just have the same group go to a fun bar or walk around.

But they’re not hard to pedal.

So you have to
1) Be in the wedding
2) Travel for bachelor party
3) Now travel for a "wedding party" trip?

How many more ways does the bride and groom to be need to have attention on them?

That could be a strategic move by the bride to look even prettier in her wedding pictures.
