Harvey level rain totals south of Houston this morning.

Nearly 12 inches of rain in some areas around Wharton, bay city etc... In 3 hours.

Be alert if you have to get out anywhere south of 59

Street flooding here and there, but nothing significant North of I10 as of now.

they are already reporting some delays and the radar doesn't show it's going to slow up any time soon, so you may want to pay close attention to your flight status before traveling to the airport.

It was pretty steady all morning in Sienna before I left the house and here at my office close to Hobby it is raining fairly hard and has been steady for hours. Zero doubt that this is moisture of the tropical variety.
