Power outages in Corpus already starting.

I think you're right about Corpus Christi proper... but they're going to be without power for days if not a few weeks.

Oh definitely. Hopefully the structures make it through though. I remember driving down to Holly Beach after Rita and it was wiped off the map like it never existed.

So far the Euro is taking Harvey a bit further inland and for longer than previous runs. That would bode well for future strength when/if it re-emerges. Doesn't really do much to the rainfall totals though, in all likelihood.
