Corpus might get spared if it keeps tracking the same way and doesn't bend WNW at the end like some models show. The hurricane force winds are pretty non existent on the left side of the storm.

Agreed. My folks have one and fortunately live close by. Why people wait until the day of the storm to go buy a damn generator is just strange.
I pulled my generator out this morning (in the rain of course) and need to swap out the gas.
