I hope no one thinks that an animal that moves about 8 inches a day could stand a chance against a super predator like an eagle

Ten minutes of eagles kicking butt - wolves (they use eagle pairs in Mongolia to hunt wolves), goats, people, deer, cat, fox, etc.

It is a longer battle (10 second gif limit) but the eagle ultimately gets tossed off the goat, looking dazed.

I lived in Alaska back in the 80s and remember it being quite common for bald eagles to snatch up people's dogs on a regular basis.
