Going 90 for our reward is a hell of a life, bud. Cheers to your dad.

My condolences Jim. You’re strong for posting this, and in time, the hurt will let up but will never be forgotten. Keep pushing, you got this.

AS a much older friend told me when my Father died, it's ok to keep missing them. (For him it had been two decades.)
I was reading my Mother's hand written recipe book yesterday, and each recipe had the friend's name who had shared the recipe. That was a good group of friends in a smallish town, and memories made me smile. I hope you will be able to, as well.

I could’ve written your first paragraph 100% word for word about my Dad when he passed 3 years ago, He was even 90 himself.

I’m very sorry for your loss. I’m so glad he was a believer. That should give you comfort.

Peace be with you Brother. Your dad reminds me a lot of my own excerpt mines only 78. He misses my mom/his wife like hell. We all find our own peace in Gods plan.

As flawed as we all are, God tends to send us angels from time to time. You were sent yours, and I'm sure she felt the same way about you.
Sure, you're gonna miss her...she was your oxygen, but live on, and let her live on, if only in your memories. Cherish those beautiful moments you spent with her, and keep the faith that someday you will be together again.
May she rest in peace.
