In the first point, it really wasn’t that big and it was in Canal so it’s not like it was in the middle of the quarter.
I thought it was one guy who was deported after talking to the media about shoddy construction.

One guy who was ordered deported before the collapse and skipped his check-ins because he knew he would be deported.
Then he went illegally fishing and DWF called ICE since he had a warrant. He went fishing on the day all the workers were meeting with lawyers together. He skipped because he had retained his own lawyer.
The 'media' he talked to was a Spanish language Facebook Group that posts about different stories, economic and social, along the gulf coast. And by talk he was on video with at least a half dozen other workers giving eyewitness accounts in the immediate aftermath.
