A couple of things in the video that crack me up:

1) love that it smash cuts from the one dude with the reasonable explanation of shadows causing an illusion to COULDBEACRACKHEEEEAD

2) love the black Irish dude with the flute. Never talked about but I believe he says the flute was passed down”thousands of years ago from his great great grandfather who was Irish.” Someone in that guys family is old af

It has its own Wikipedia page LINK

The Bob and Dan Show on KTCK 1310 The Ticket in Dallas conducted a field investigation in 2014 interviewing locals about their memories of the incident. Numerous witnesses identified the Crichton Leprechaun as a local African American dwarf "Midget Sean". The interviewers were brought to meet the man, who recounted the story as a prank played on the local community in which he dressed in a leprechaun suit and climbed a tree while his friends alerted others about a leprechaun sighting.[10][11]

seems to be their claim to fame, was forced to spend some there a couple of years ago it's plastered everywhere you go, or at least the places I went, okay, bfd

seems to me they claim to have invented crawfish too, iirc, I heard that from several people that I was just making small talk with when they found out I was from Louisiana

Well, 3 of the more popular Irish bars are not even opening today in N.O.

Tracy's, Parasols and Finn McCool's are remaining closed today due to the expected huge turnout they usually get on St. Patrick's Day.

The owner of Finns reported to the local paper that there were customers in their business just last week that weren't adhering to the social distancing and face mask policy in effect and it got a bit confrontational. So they figured with a huge crowd on St. Paddy's Day, it would get out of hand. Pretty sure that is probably the same reason for Tracy's and Parasols to be closed too.

Damn Covid-------ruining everything.

I was born and raised in Mobile, and will say this is patently false. it is not plastered everywhere at all.
