But wouldn't the ancestors of most of the black people in America today that are descendants of slaves have come from Western Africa?
And I doubt any descendants of any "kangz" of one of the greatest civilizations in human history would find themselves in a position to be sold/forces into slavery.

If any average black person in America today actually had any ancestor in ancient Egypt then chances are they were slaves there too.

So you mean just the Nubians of upper Egypt that were not involved in British slavery? And not the conquered tribesmen of the lower continent?
