It's the name of the band, you'll have to ask them. I don't believe for a second you knew anything about Julius Caesar and the ides of March, but maybe that's me.

The Ides of March also corresponded with the first full moon of the new year on the Roman calendar (it was a lunar calendar). So, prior to the assassination of Julius Caeser, the Ides of March was associated with a Roman holy/sacred day.
