Since this damned crisis I’ve become a huge Willie Nelson fan. It happened by listening to his 70s output late nights. The man is incredibly gifted as a songwriter and musician. His musicianship is way underrated. He based his guitar approach off of Django Reinhardt. Check out his session with Johnny Cash called VH-1 Storytellers and tell me Willie doesn’t have incredible taste in his guitar playing. His stance on marijuana overshadows what an incredible artist he is. The man’s a treasure. Happy Birthday Willie Nelson

I met a retired professional piano player that was a studio musician for Capital Records and also in Las Vegas.He played piano for quite a few big name artists.He said he didn’t like playing for Willie Nelson because he smelled so bad,said he smelled like a billy goat.
