Seattle?
That surprises me a little. I knew a rich, prominent psychiatrist from there, and he and his neurotic brother seemed to be unhappy about something different every week.

so you don’t like snow…got it.
is it ok that the people who live there and do like it are happy, or no?
Have you ever been there or anywhere it is -10 to -50 degrees for any amount of time?
No, your stupid arse hasn't. Ain't nobody happy when it's that cold.
Wyoming, Montana, and Alaska had the highest suicide rates in 2021 at 32.3, 32.0, and 30.8 suicides per 100,000 people, Dakotas are not far behind.
Cold does it.

Both St. George’s should make the list.

Bismarck, ND
The second-happiest city is Bismarck, ND, in part because it has the ninth-highest percentage of adults who report having good or better health, allowing residents to maintain a higher quality of life. It also has the 13th-lowest share of people who sleep less than seven hours per night, meaning families are more well-rested and better equipped to handle daily life with less stress.
In addition, Bismarck has the seventh-highest score on Sharecare’s Community Well-Being Index, which measures how much residents like where they live, feel safe, and take pride in their community. This high ranking reflects a strong sense of satisfaction and connection among residents, contributing to overall quality of life.
To top things off, Bismarck has the largest average amount of leisure time per day, measured in minutes, allowing residents more opportunities to unwind, spend time with loved ones, and focus on personal interests.

wasilla AK for most of a winter
I didn’t like it
but it’s not like that for very long
Fargo is a very nice place to live, the people there are nice and industrious and yes…happy. ND is a beautiful state. Demographic homogeneity has plenty to do with that as well.
it’s cool if they’re happy right? You will allow it I assume?

Years ago I would have stood up for Florida.
No longer. Place is turning to shite. Everywhere is crowded and traffic is a nightmare.
The dream is gone.

Liberals are such self-serving and loathing pieces of crap. These places are five steps away from becoming 100 percent socialist and they happen to view it as utopian overload.

It's great place....when it ain't winter.
Those people in the places I mention bitch like Hell in the winter.
I spent a night in Feb. drinking at a bar in Yakima, WA. One of the guys was from ND. All he did all night was complain about having to go home the next day to cold.
When it's below zero no one is blowing sunshine up anyone's arse.
