Yeah, there is a whole lot of stupidity to go around here. I don't have a big opinion one way or another about this shite, which brings me in line with probably 95% of the city. People are working and trying to live their lives and if Mitch wouldn't have started this shite, most wouldn't have noticed it.
Saw a facebook post today about a coffee shop in the area today that is now in a pissing match with the "protectors". Both sides are talking shite about the other as far as which is acting more like an arse.
Outside groups are here and more tensions are being stoked up over this Mitchie poo pet project.

This is why taking down the monuments so Mitch could advance his political career was a bad idea. It stirs up the extremists on both sides and isolates the rational people on both sides who don't want to be lumped in with the extremists on either side.
