. I started working on a screenplay for one set in South Louisiana.

Already been done. Lady comes down with her son to have Christmas "in the Bayou." You know it's set in the Bayou because A) It's in the title and B) they mention The Bayou every 5 minutes or so. Complete with Alligators, Nice, wise old man who looks JUST LIKE SANTA played by Ed Asner and a Santa Copycat called Papa Noel. Oh, and aforementioned kid singing Christmas carol with unintelligible cajun words.

Somehow, my wife ropes me into watching these things every year, and they are, to be honest, kinda refreshing.

Excuse my language, but frick all of this.

I am kind to all people and generous, to a fault. I’m not taking Christmas movies and Christmas songs like Jingle Bells out of my life just to appease sanctimonious assholes.

Is it just me or does anyone else hate the liberal mindset more now than before Trump handed them their butts?

God forbid the ethnicity that is of the majority is appealed to. You don't have to watch the shite, I sure as hell don't watch many, many channels.

It's actually good.

Not going to lie either. My wife is the one that like the cheesy movies. I'm the one that puts up no fuss at all because well... I like 'em as well. Would I watch one if she wasn't home or whatever? Uh... no comment?

Its fricking movies. If you don't like what type of movies a company makes, then write a script of the type of movie you would like to see and proceed with trying to sell the idea to a company that could possibly be interesting in making it.. Or contact other networks and explain what you would like to see more off in Christmas movies instead of complaining to everyone about how movies, no one makes you watch, is racist or not homosexual enough.. Or whatever.
