I'd be more worried that my wife had made some kind of confession to a dying parent knowing she was going to take it to the grave. Now, your MIL is trying to tip you off to your wife's confessed indiscretions.

Dreams venture beyond time and space. Anything is possible.
Lucid dreams are the best.

About a year after my best friend passed I had a dream we were just sitting at a table together having a drink and talking. It was weird because its the most normal dream I've ever had. I don't even remember anything that was said, just that it was a nice feeling.

My Brother passed away, soon to be, 6 years ago. The only time I dream about him is when I wake up then go back to sleep a couple hours later. Nothing out of the ordinary type dream. Just he is in the area that I am in.. Just thinking about it I haven't had a dream in long time..at least that I remember.

This is the most brilliant ruse ever to get one's wife to do unusual things in the bedroom.
Cheers and Salute.

I’ve had this happen. I had two dreams like this with someone very close to me. One was like talking on the phone with the other person on the other side of a clear pane looking at me while we talked. It was unbelievable. But basically he reassured me everything was ok for him and for me

I've had very vivid dreams with deceased family members. The especially vivid ones leave you thinking about it all day. I don't try to look too far into why it happens, I'm just thankful for the extra time I get to spend with them.

Now this type of thing happened to me when my mother's second husband died of cancer at UAB. The family had gathered anticipating his passing would be soon. He and I were extremely close, fishin' buddies. I went to his niece's home to spend the night and my mother stayed by his bedside. I woke at 2:12am and sat straight up in the bed. It woke my wife and she asked what was wrong. I said I saw him, face to face, he was healthy again, smiling, and told me he was alright now. The phone rang minutes later, it was mother, he had passed around 2. I told her I know, I just saw him.

I had a dream that I was duck hunting with my Uncle who had passed away from cancer a couple months before. In the dream, he told me that he was good, then he shot a duck
It was weird because I'm not a hunter, but I guess in my mind I know that he was. I don't really believe in that type of stuff, I kinda just think it was my mind trying to put me at ease, but it still makes me slightly emotional thinking about it.

I will never understand why people care what other people do behind closed doors.

She was trying to give him some kind of news. It had something to do with the British Broadcasting Corporation, I think.

I dream about my deceased grandparents once in a while. Usually nothing earthshaking, they're just there and we're doing stuff like we always did.
My grandmother once told me my grandfather visited her a few days after he died. She woke up and he was at the foot of the bed looking at her and kind of smiling/laughing. She was a very orthodox Baptist and didn't believe in ghosts, but she believed that. She only told me once, and I'm pretty sure she never told any other family member. I was the oldest grandchild and we were very close.
Another, related thing she told me around that time was that an old boyfriend contacted her soon after my grandfather's death. He said he dreamed about her and knew she was in trouble. This was a boy she had almost married but for some reason didn't. She hadn't had contact in 50 or more years, he lived a long distance away, and this was pre-internet, so it's unlikely he would have found out by any conventional means. I don't think they ever got together, but they wrote letters and talked on the phone, and I think it gave her some comfort.
