We have 2 squat racks at our gym
1 was being used, the other was being used in a superset by a trainer with his client. They were going from the squat rack to lunges across the room.
It was 5pm on a Monday
I went to the squat rack
He said, "We are working in there between doing lunges and leg extensions"
I said, "not anymore. It's 5pm on a Monday. I pay my dues like everyone else, but you are welcome to work in with me"
Trainer still doesn't talk to me, and this was like 3 years ago

Yeah he's an idiot. I do supersets in the squat rack but I do them on Sunday nights. No one is there then. I did it last night, actually. Not a soul in the gym.

I was there from 9:30 to 11:00 last night. Later than usual but I had to get it in.

Circuit training is bullshite in a crowded gym. Add to that the guy is using up two rooms.

If you wanna circuit train then you need to know your gym and drag your arse out there at the shitty times when it's empty.

+1

then they have the nerve to look at you cock eyed when you don't let them reserve 3-4 areas simultaneously

I stay out of the gym on Mondays for this reason. That trainer is a douche for trying to pull that shite

Sundays are always my leg day so I don't have to deal with this crap

That's almost as annoying as someone doing dumbbell curls with three different sets weights and keeping them all on the ground around the bench.

Sounds like me
It's late, don't feel like it, I'll make up for it, etc...
Still got to get it in

Stories like these are why I love having a garage gym. I think I'd show up to a normal gym pissed off every day because I'd assume I'd be dealing with some inconsiderate prick trying to take up a piece of equipment that I need.

I felt surprisingly well and strong for it being so late.

I'm honestly getting close to making one for myself. I like to get in and get out, and I get pissy when other people are using equipment that I had planned on using. Unlike the person in the OP though, I have gym manners.

That is the arm with the torn long head bicep tendon.

You can see the drop at the top of the bicep.

Regulation 6.7.34ii paragraph D. Squatters rights is recognized if said squater unsquats for specified period of time of more than 60 seconds - or period sufficient for squatee to complete a set in between.

Nah.

It was sore for a few weeks after it tore, but overall strength is the same as the left.

The only issue is overhead instability at the top due to a loss of some stabilization from that tendon.
