It doesn't bother me, but I've never particularly looked for a sportsman. My BF doesn't fish.
I was mostly surprised/amused by how many men have the same exact pic. They all look alike.

How old are you? Sometimes, being a sheep gives you more opportunities. If you don't have any fish nearby to pose with, being in a row of dudes in a tailgate pose is a close second.

So attraction is about belonging. Looking like you belong in an area, or showing that you belong to a group.

When I had a dating profile back in the day, I usually had a pic of me rock climbing/kayaking - that was for my potential relationship profile.
Now for my "watch Netflix and chill" profile, the pictures were douched up - raised shirt to show my abs, me flexing in a mirror, showing off my possessions - all the stuff I hate to admit at this point in my life.
With that said, the 2nd profile got the most bites by a wide margin. I concluded most girls on dating websites are damaged goods/want sex/are seen as crazy in their inner circles. The vast majority of sane girls, especially attractive ones, have zero trouble attracting a suitable mate without a dating website.
The moral of the story, if you want easy poon on the internet, get ripped up and buy cool shite. If you want a relationship, go up to a girl you find attractive/interesting and actually fricking talk to her.

I'm not the best person to ask. I was married forever, and met my current dude playing words with friends (he was alone in his pic, no fish or bro's). When it comes to online dating, looking as normal as possible is probably best, so you don't come across as a skin-suiter. Normal def varies based on location. And age.
