Yeah, I’m just trying to understand what Fred is implying. CD from the beginning 4 years ago is the SIL and/or her boyfriend...Or, CD is the husband, but someone else has been using his account and posting the info about the wife’s death and GFM... or, it’s a long con from the beginning with multiple related fb accounts set up years ago with family pictures, linked in accounts, multiple arrests and federal legal claims used to create a fake family to run a GFM scam

Okay, I have made some phone calls this morning, Sonya took David to get the prescriptions filled, that's how he got to the pharmacy. Sonya has been driving him back and forth to work, too.
Apparently the GFM is now locked so in the mean time, I'm using my credit card to pay for the funeral so they can get her buried.
What happens, happens but I will never forget the kindness from the people on this message board. God Bless all of you and the family can't thank you enough for your generosity. I'm sorry for David's and Sonya's rantings and confusion. They are really devastated and not thinking clearly. I'm not trying to make excuses, just trying to help you understand.

To be fair, with Covid I’m sure we all assumed it was Covid related. Lots of people have been laid off this year, so that’s where my mind went.
That said, I’m with you. I didn’t get a refund because the money means so much to me. I got a refund because every refund NOT initiated likely goes to someone possibly ODing and dying.
The folks in here still talking about the girls and getting in contact with someone to give them a Christmas are well intended, but sorry I’m out.
