KentuckyGirl seems nice enough, but good grammar doesn’t magically make someone trustworthy. And she already said she wouldn’t be in control of the money anyway.

A man in Pace Florida lived in a house with his mama's corpse deteroriating for months because she had a prescription coming in the mail and a SS deposit to begin every month....nothing but a skeleton when she was discovered....he sat in a recliner adjacent to that couch watching TV for months....spent one night in jail....attended the funeral...it was his mama after all, posted on FB that he had lost his best friend....Junkies are something else....

I took OP at his word and if it turns out to be a scam then that is on him. I gave a contribution because I feel its important to pay if forward. $100 isnt worth it for me to get pissed over.
Something to consider. Many of you are worried about his daughters and Xmas. I am sure they have friends whose families will step up. Same with their schools. Area churches will also help them out. More than likely they will have a better Xmas then most of your kids because of the out pouring of support that will come from the Gasden area.
Another thing is him mentioning taking Xanax. If his arrest record and drug history is accurate then this guy is probably still having to attend some probationary authority that is more than likely giving piss tests for drugs and booze. People arrested with heroin are not allowed to be on other controlled substances like Xanax. My point is that if this is all a scam karma will be served next time he takes a UA.
Finally, things could be worse for those of us who contributed. At least we were not part of the many who were scammed by George Floyd's family to pay for his funeral. Last I heard his GFM was at $12 million.

Fred is an admin. He can see a lot you can't see. He has all the IPs used on that account for starters
