My guess is they were allowing him to reach his fundraising goal given the circumstances of the tragedy.

Yeah be nice to hear why the anchor given the reason for the thread, would understand if fundraising was the reason for the removal of the gfm and anchor.

It’s because word has gotten out that the TD community is extremely generous and it’s becoming a place for donation requests. Seems like all go fund mes so far have been for a good purpose but it won’t be long before the scams show up.

I removed the Go Fund me link...goal was reached. In general, I am not comfortable with go fund me's being posted when I can't verify their legitimacy...if this is a scam, let this be a lesson for those that fell for it. If it isn't a scam, then I am glad the users of TD were able to step up for a good cause. Regardless, I have said some prayers for CD and his family.

Possible, but Data has been here for 4 years and has like 7,000 posts. if he showed up to hustle this place, it was one hell of a long con. These fellas would be proud.
