none of that kept him from getting an AR15.
That's because, as you know, gun laws are only followed by the law abiding. I'm guessing he could not have provided a receipt for the AR-15.

What a piece of garbage, and so instead of a hard working woman trying to make a living to provide for her and her loved ones, we end up with him alive and well.

Probably a surplus MRAP being used by a SWAT or SRT team

Here’s the typical liberal viewpoint in these things-
They focus on the criminal’s background and try to figure out WHY the person behaves the way they do. They look for external forces that CAUSE people to commit crimes-
They consider his upbringing
Probably a broken home-
Maybe parents on drugs
Maybe physical abuse by parents or others.
Poor schooling
Bad diet
Police harassment.
Years of abuse lead to a person with no hope and no tools to resolve conflict so they use guns or other violent methods to settle disputes.
This is what Cantrell, the DA and others in the criminal Justice system care about.
It generally comes down to oppression by outside forces causing people to commit crimes.
There’s No personal responsibility. It’s someone else’s fault so therefore we need to coddle the criminal.

Just taking a guess, but I doubt a restraining order would have prevented what happened. He doesn’t seem like the type to abide by it.
Correct. This POS would not have honored any legal order of restraint had one been imposed.
With his track record of run-ins with the law and him still free to roam the streets, he definitely would not have stayed away from doing harm.

We had two fugitives who shot or shot at cops in middle TN on the loose yesterday. One guy was killed up in Louisville and they caught this guy.
People were bitching all day about the alerts to their phone. God forbid TBI try to alert you to a murderer on the loose.
That was the first time I noticed ever getting a "Blue Alert". People were bitching about those?

How is what he did in that parking lot, that was videoed, anything other than 1st degree?
First degree applies to someone under the age of 12 or over 64, a police officer, somebody who has a protective order...
Basically, didn't fit the elements necessary for that charge.
1st Degree

They really could have just shot this guy and said he was reaching for something. They missed a freebie.
It's too late, I'm sure. The nation and NFL have probably already picked out the next martyr who was on the right path and just made a bad mistake. Bad timing on this POS part.

I'm shocked they didn't do the usual "battery with a firearm" charge tbh

One could argue the video guy did the right thing as perhaps they wouldn't know the identity of the shooter without the video

"he's a product of the environment you all created" that's their underlying message.
