I was only asking a question, Monsieur Draconian.

And yes, in Texas and Louisiana

I read the first 5 or 6 exchanges - when does the hilarity ensue?

You know the poker saying "if you can't spot the sucker in the first 5 minutes, then you are the sucker"?
This is sort of like that.

Excuse the flyover country people from noticing The Culture Nannies and their Dictates. They haven't been properly reeducated in Our New Cultural Revolution. They still cling to simplistic human constructs like male/female. Fortunately, if we poke them in the chest a few million times, they will stop reacting to our necessary Cultural provocations.
Any resistance to this nonsense will always be mocked and derided as "outrage culture". I'm encouraged that people are standing up to the degradation of the cultural values of our civilization, but it's sad when people condescendingly use memes or whatever to thwart any sense of conservatism. It gives the trash a false sense of intellectual superiority when they can do a successful troll.

It's doesn't. But this is a prime example of the trite gen x/millennial style of cutting-edge humor that has gotten so tiresome. Draconian thrives on it. It tends to give relatively passive people a way to exert power over others.
Did someone call it "epic?" I'm sure someone described it as "epic."

Agreed, I'm in my 20s, but words cannot describe how much I'm troubled by what my generation is collectively. This goes beyond the old typical "Every generation says that about the youth man!" because a) I'm a part of the generation, and b) This time it seems to be different.
This isn't a bunch of troublemakers playing loud, offensive music and smoking weed, or a bunch of lazy punks arguing with their parents about cutting the grass (although that's increasingly a part of it). It's a fundamental difference in the way we communicate. On reddit, it's about who can garner upvotes, which filters out other viewpoints. For Twitter, it's about summing up a movement with a hastag phrase. On other forms of social media, it's about who can come up with a social meme. People who really aren't that smart or informed can cynically frick with older conservatives who can't pick up on their humor and then repost it.
It's sad, because the internet is in many respects replacing the idea of true intellectual discussion for the masses, and it's giving people the illusion that it does a good job of it. And it culminates in people who make fun of Fox News, but are too short-sighted to realize how silly they are for using John Stewart and social media to inform their political views.

Has anyone made a germans reference or something along the lines of "again?"?
If not, I'd like to insert one. Those jokes are so funny and original when some idiot comes along here and posts something that I saw hours ago!
It's like, wake up loser, check TD more instead of doing other worthless life events.
"Did this happen in Germany?" HA
"Again?" - Get it? Cause this has been posted already, so did the story happen again or something?!
Suck it OP!!!
