Said he noticed some smoke, opened hood and flames came out behind engine close to fire wall. Fire extinguisher didn't fully suppress it. Same for water. Jeep is completely burned down. He'll be spending the night out on BLM land or wherever he is and having to get rescued by a friend.

Streamed this about an hour ago, so about midnight eastern time.

Too many doors to be a Jeep.

He seems oddly okay with his vehicle burning to the ground. I would be having a damn fit.

I have a feeling the insurance company is going to be digging into this a little bit.

Did he park in tall, dry grass? Not watching all that.

Yeah, I wouldn't want to have to call the insurance company because I burned up my Jeep off road. There's so many special exclusions in some policies.

No wonder so many forest fires happen. See folks, this is why you should carry a fire extinguisher.

I skipped through it, apparently he was in the desert and his jeep was full of ammunition. I wish he would had video whit the flames 30 feet in the air and his ammunition going off.

Good thing he burned 75% of his cell phone battery streaming a video out to the internet and uploading pics and videos as well.

He says it’s probably a 1-2 day hike out and has the gear to do it.

Sounds like it might be a Jeep from the company that puts on these adventures out into the desert.

He had one, but too small. And he says he used shovel to create a little fire break around the vehicle when he figured out the fire was out of control.

I have a feeling this story comes back in the future as "youtuber indicted on insurance fraud charges".

I think there’s a problem with some years of jeeps where they’ll catch on fire randomly. Friend of mine had his Jeep burn up in his driveway.

Well good on him. The issue sometimes is people spray from the top, always spray at the base.

The average person doesn’t know to spray the base.

Wonder if he just had to winch out of somewhere. Not uncommon for the batteries to catch fire after doing such a thing.
