South Houston and a lot of North Houston are shitholes. West Houston is still really nice but the southwest side is getting dicey (lots of old apartment buildings).

It’s amazing that this gets downvoted. City of Houston immediately started hitting 60% voting for Dems. Harris country voted republican “in all but one presidential election from 1952 to 2004.” That one was LBJ. Obama got most votes in 2008 in first presidential election after Katrina and have gotten the most votes in every Presidential election since (2012 was a plurality win but rest majority).
Katrina refugees brought in a quicker turn Blue for Harris county by themselves along with the white flight caused by Katrina refugees also bringing in a whole lot of trash.
Houston has no chance. It’s nearly all blue. If it’s not trashy blue it’s the blue making excuses for the trash.
