Learn how to shake hands like Sean Payton. Jab to the chest and a firm arm hold with the left while you shake with the right

Honest question, how does your wife feel about him doing this to her? Does she mind the hug? Where & why did it begin? Would she tell him to stop if you asked her?

It takes two people to go in for a hug. Try hugging a girl who doesn't want to be hugged.

This is on your wife. She's making sure you know she's got dudes who give her attention. Or she just likes hugging that guy.

If you bring it up, you'll look like a pussy and she'll want to hug more guys. I'd ignore the hug and ignore the dude and ignore her when she's around the dude. I'd also find other broads to talk/joke/flirt with after she does that. Do her like pavlov's dogs. I'd be nonchalant af about it though.

How does he know your wife? Work? School? I'd probably say something passive-aggressive next time and see his reaction.

Tell him you’d like to meet him in the Coates Hall bathroom later

Your wife should be referring his attention to you after saying hello to him. "And you remember my husband, PCRammer?".....

If your wife keeps letting that happen (she has to acknowledge him and hug him in front of you) and doesn't introduce you and immediately direct his attention to you by saying something like "this is my husband" , then she's either currently fricking that guy or has fricked that guy and is still interested. No doubt.

And the guy has 0 respect for you. And your wife has 0 respect for you.

I don't know what to tell you, as my wife has never put me in this situation. Anytime either of us greet someone from our past we always introduce the other one. It's respect. Your wife has none for you.

Next time he fricks your wife, ask them if you can get in on the action.

At least this way you get a little piece. No telling what unspeakable things he’s done to your wife. Probably eats arse too.

At a minimum, she's seen his junk up close.

If it is as bad as you describe it, he's likely got a guilty conscience about something regarding you. Either a crush on your wife or... more than that.

Assert yourself with a forced greeting/handshake to make him acknowledge you and sweat it out a little bit. But getting to the bottom of it likely involves dealing with your wife on it, not him.

You need to be convinced something is really amiss before letting your wife in on your insecurity though, especially before you really start grilling her on it. Otherwise you have a lot to lose as far as how she thinks about you moving forward.

First of all, your wife should be introducing you.

Since she is not. Why don’t you just stick out your hand and introduce yourself?

You sound just as socially awkward as him

I've had this happen. I straight shoved myself in and made sure that guy started acknowledging me. Give him that firm shake like you really want to tell him to frick off. Ole boy asked my wife about it later and I explained it to her when she asked. She had no problem with it. Found out later that little bitch did have a crush on her.

Won't hurt to throw his wife a hug and really get in there.

Grayson is a bitch name.

Guilty conscience? It sounds like our boy Grayson has zero respect for and actively disdains the OP.

He may want to ask his wife what she has been confiding with this guy.

Absolutely. Or you could possibly describe it as a level of envy that makes him feel ashamed, in the case that it's a crush.

Typical woman doesn't even realise its a thing until I point it out. She grew up in this town so she knows everyone so when we go to these functions there are lots of hugs for her and handshakes for me, minus one of course. And I do the same, I embrace lots of wives but always afterwards bro hug or shake the hand of her spouse. She would totally stop if I asked her, but I'm not built like that. Next time I'll just force it with him and see how he reacts, I just have to see him coming before he sees us.

There is so much trash about this thread that I wouldn’t be surprised if all this took place at a Sonic already
