Jimmy Kimmel returns to host the Academy Awards on Sunday, and says he won’t shy away from making jokes about President Donald Trump.

But Kimmel revealed he won’t be addressing the Me Too or Time’s Up movements, which have prompted many people to talk about sexual harassment and assault in the entertainment industry.

“This show is not about reliving people’s sexual assaults,” he told ABC News’ Paula Faris in an interview that aired this week.

Kimmel said the awards show was “for people who have been dreaming about maybe winning an Oscar for their whole lives” and that “the last thing” he wanted to do was “ruin that” for them by “making it unpleasant.”

"Hey, I'll lecture the entire GOP about healthcare and gun control and give the bird to half the country in order to force them to change, but to my buddies that are raping women? Where does that benefit me? I'm friends with most of these people who are accused of sexual assault. In fact it deters from us lecturing the entire world about how we're morally superior.

You know he's going to bring up gun control, and he's openly admitted that he's going to bash Trump the whole time. I think Seth Meyers was pretty pathetic as the Golden Globes host, but at least he mostly laid off of going after the other side. Instead Kimmel is doubling down on the narcissism and is protecting his buddies like Matt Damon and Ben Affleck who certainly knew about Weinstein.

What a fricking hypocrite.
