Biden took executive action on Jan. 6 to protect much of the U.S. coastline from more exploratory drilling. He issued two presidential memorandums that withdrew more than 625 million acres of coastal waters from potentially being leased for new oil and natural gas production.

The areas covered by the actions are the eastern U.S. Atlantic coast; the eastern Gulf of Mexico; the Pacific Coast along California, Oregon and Washington; and portions of the Northern Bering Sea in Alaska.
try again boss

Well, the typical American has never paid attention to what other countries are doing within their borders. So welcome to the club, world.
Even when they think they’re not, they’re still trying to be us.

I think the name change is stupid, but I don't think the president spent much time on it, dumb arse.

Its not about the name. He's Alpha dogging the rest of the world. Reminding them that he has the upper hand in all negotiations on the world stage.
It serves to set the tone. And its kinda funny.
Alpha? This is basically a chihuahua barking. No one else cares and will continue to call it whatever they called it before. Just like you don't give a shite that Arabs call the Persian Gulf the Gulf of Arabia or that half a dozen different countries have different names for what we call the South China Sea, no one outside of the US gives a shite what we call the Gulf, outside of mocking us.
