Is there a better site to nerd out on and stare at thousands of guitars both new and vintage? And affordable to astronomical.

I'm all ears.

ETA damnit.

I meant to have this on the music board. Admins feel free to move this.. Please...

It's a damn good app but I can't believe there aren't copy cats. I find that after shipping and everything, most everything is a little steep to a lot steep, but it's pretty convenient.

I've gotten way better deals off of eBay, no doubt.

Check out the emporium on the gear page forum. You'll have to google it I'm too lazy to link. There's serious gear heads buying, selling, and trading any type of guitar, pedal, or amp you can imagine.

This guy his is the guru of luthiers. He makes the guitar "blue book". Go to the shop in Nashville if you ever get the chance. His shop is what I envision heaven to be like

Gotta link for that?

Just a curiosity. Did he have a lot of vintage? Or just highly customized hand modified guitars? Like the "Symbol" guitar?

I found my new guitar--the one we discussed on the music board--on reverb. However, I bought my guitar (brand new and less expensive than reverb) direct from the guitar company. That's because it's a discontinued model that the company wants to move.

Reverb's the best for quantity, plus you see some offbeat brands, like the one I bought.

I'd also check your local craigslist from time to time. A few years ago I bought a fantastic lefty Larrivee acoustic that way. Hey, you never know ....

Other than this site, guitars.com. I have been everywhere else mentioned.

Norman's rare guitars is cool. Reading his Yelp and a few of his YouTube comments, people hate that dude??

Maybe he is a douche? Idk. Anybody here in California and been to his shop. He has some very high end shite. So high, I don't know if it is overpriced.

Not that I am in the market for a Martin 000-45 from the 30's or anything. Lol

Bump to report that I checked guitar.com

I take back what I said about Normans. This guy has some high fm dollar shite too. And high end specialty stuff. I've never seen a Gibson that was $80,000! Mind you, I am only talking about acoustics, not Les Pauls. I know they can get into the auction amount stratosphere.

He also has very high end stuff I've never heard of. Cool site though. Thanks.

I really need to get better at guitar.

Can anyone teach me? In return I can show you how to get a golf ball off the ground. Lol
