That's about right.

Anyone remember 10-15 years ago, when you'd just see an occasional panhandler, but it would be sort of unusual.

Now, it's almost as if you can't go to any city in the country without seeing these people on every street corner.

It is now viewed as ok to make bad life choices. It is not anyone's fault anymore. Not paying your bills is ok. Student Loans? Mortgage? Credit Cards? No reason to pay them.

These people used to be shamed and shunned. Now they are entitled.
