While on a business trip, I noticed a coworker was wearing a pair of shoes that looked to be better suited for an inner city yute.

He is a very fit white guy who just turned 40 and probably makes around $150K. Otherwise, he was dressed professionally and has a professional demeanor.

Over the course of 3 days, I noticed he had Jordans to match every outfit.

Is this common?

The Jordans with dress pants are a terrible look. A lot of those goobers on ESPN think it's cool though.

Y’all definitely have the moral high ground on appropriate attire.

I’ve noticed grown men complaining about what another guy is wearing like a woman. Is this common?

Are you jealous or gay?

Why do you care enough to post here about another mans style?

I wear athletic shoes regularly. I'll be 35 next month. I don't see an issue with grown mean wearing nice athletic shoes. Jordans make some good looking running shoes. I havent bought any because I try to stay around the $60-$70 range for my shoes, but if I spent more, I'd get some. I think it looks better than grown men wearing all white New Balances...

So are 40 year old men just expected to wear vanilla New Balance shoes or sandals?

Are white New Balance and Jordans the only options?

I was unaware there was a certain way a "very fit white guy who just turned 40 and probably makes around $150k" is supposed to wear. This is some incredibly insecure shite. This guy is enjoying his life and you're complaining about him online.

It actually seems like you want to frick him.

I have shoes for different occasions but not one to match every outfit really. I stick to more basic color shoes so they match everything. Black or brown dress shoes. White sneakers and black sneakers..ect. Makes it easier.

I’m 37... I still buy at least 2 pair a year... it’s a thing if you were a teenager in the 90’s...

You know, you'll be a lot happier in life when you quit worrying about shite other people do that doesn't harm or affect you or anyone else in a negative way.

I was a teenager in the 90’s and it’s not a thing.

There’s nothing wrong with guys owning Jordan’s obviously. I do get a kick out of the goofball 40 somethings with gray hair rocking them with their skinny jeans while being 20lbs overweight though.

Wearing them with a suit is silly though. That and the white soled dress shoes are fads that can’t go away fast enough.

When grown men are wearing Nike hi-tops in public and they aren’t actually playing basketball, it’s really pathetic.
