I put on muscle mass very fast. Even doing low weight/high rep I get “swole” as you put it. Besides, us bigger baws like to make you scrawny baws feel insecure.

Eh, I don't know. I dislike a lot of the dude bros I see every day at the gym, but most of them are younger guys. Getting fit to attract a female is pretty common, so I get it.
The guys that look older often times either still have a dad bod despite lifting huge weights or I just don't automatically assume they are married with an office job. Could be that they are military (actually extremely likely where I live), police officers, etc. Could be that they spend a lot of time outdoors or play a sport.
Personally, I lift, but I hate lifting
I would be fine just doing cardio
