You will be fine where you will be. Probably the most famous BBQ close to where you will be is the Rendevouz. It's very good but not great. I would tell to to go to Central BBQ on Central or the Bar-B-Q shop on Madison.
Also, whatever you do you must go to Gus' Fried Chicken there is one downtown. It's the best fried chicken you will ever eat.
