King Soopers had eye of round steaks on sale for 3.99 a pound if you bought two packages.

May be a subtle brag, did not mean it that way. Just really enjoying this evening and hope some other folks out there are also. Plenty people out walking, smiling, neighbors doing yardwork. Just a good day all around. And I did not dry brine them, marinated them overnight in my own little mix as the family likes it that way. I’ll brine them next time.

I’m smoking a joint and drinking a glass of wine on my deck. Had a big lunch so no dinner for me tonight, other than a pint of ice cream when the munchies set in in about an hour.

We aren't fully there yet but I love this time of the year when you can be outside much of the day and it not be totally miserable
