No, I am not saying that people shouldn’t be in ocean, but if the objective is to study or observe ocean going creatures, the protective barrier being used should not harm the humans or the creatures. Pretty simple. Is it really that hard to figure out?

IDK, I'm about as politically left as Churchill, and I don't like that little saying either. The subtext is, "I'm smart so nothing bad ever happens to me," but using that little saying doesn't really come across as smart.

And this is where you are completely wrong. All animals have slight differences within their species, that’s how a little thing called evolution happens. The strong or better suited survive to reproduce and the weak and least suited, die. If every creature in each species was all the same there would be 0 evolution.
Animals have different levels of instinct. Some are brave and some are shy, sometime being brave is better sometimes being shy. Slightly different colors, all kinds of variations.
Just because one animal dies doesn’t mean it’s a major issue.
So what, if a shark tries to bite a boat propeller we should just not use any boats anymore?
