Great way to be the “life” of the party

And I’m not just talking about parties. You can apply this to any group setting, like dinners.
MTM = match the music.
If there’s a chill song playing, be chill. Relax your muscles, slow your breathing, slow down your speech a little, and just stick to positive calm talk.
If there’s a romantic song playing, lean into it. Make strong eye contact. Notice the beauty around you. Make a move if it feels right. Ooze confidence.
If it’s an upbeat dance song, don’t be afraid to move around. Get excited. Elbow the people next to you and invite them to get into the song with you.
If it’s a sad song, be sad. Open up about something painful. Don’t hold back the tears. If you can’t open up, then withdraw from the conversation and just find something to stare at while you think your sad thoughts.
Music is strong. By matching the tone of the music, you sort of blend with it and it sort of amplifies you. I know this sounds strange, but I dare you to try it. People will wonder what it is that made you so “present,” so attention getting - so “player 1” if you will.

What if they are playing gangsta rap?
Should I fire off a round or two?

If you were my friend and starting crying at dinner during a sad song, I'd stop inviting you

He used to have these long winded stories about meeting a chick in bed bath and beyond or some shite like that while he played FarmVille on his phone.

I have been doing this for 50 years. Music can be a very powerful.

I like to walk in pounding jager bombs and screaming profanities regardless of the mood.

How about just be yourself and stop trying to manipulate the situation

Decent tips. It's hard to put these things into words because of how weird it sounds. Most of us just don't try. But you're not totally wrong. Matching vibes is a thing.

I’m not saying you should lie.
You never let music impact your behavior? You’re basically a robot that acts the same way all the time regardless of the stimuli around you?
