Great story of protesters protecting cop who was by himself

LINK A cop was stranded by himself and was beginning to get crowded. Protesters saw he was in trouble and they began linking arms so nobody could get to him. They protected him until other cops were able to get to him.
The cop was real thankful and he plans on thanking each one of them in person.

Ultimately most people in this country are good and get along perfectly fine

We’ve seen a lot of heartwarming stories of police and protestors interacting, but at the same time we’ve seen incredible acts of violence against police officers and the national guard.
The good does not outweigh the bad in this case. In fact, it’s a net loss for “the movement” . Much like protesting with riots and looting sprinkled in here and there.

Good people are good people. It is sad that they had to protect him. Fortunately, these guys stepped up.

So glad to see people who created such an unsafe and violent environment that the national guard was required be kind enough to protect someone (doing their job) from being torn to shreds by an angry mob. They all deserve fricking medals for their kindness to this poor, evil white devil.

That dude's got thighs coming out of his shoulders.
They'd have over run him, but, I suspect a few of the initial arrivals would have severely regretted their decision.
