I generally dismiss these threads, people often just see what they want to see, but there is no denying that they are showing vast imrovements

As opposed to yours? Give me a break.

You act like posting good news about covid is some bad thing, how sad.

Mr perfect aka dingus mongoloidus

Deaths are a LAGGING INDICATOR

The people dying caught the virus weeks ago

It’s not a relevant stat when looking at WHAT THE FUTURE LOOKS LKE

He's a teenager, really. You're wasting time discussing anything with him that requires critical thought.

Deaths lag, baw.

Deaths numbers today are from hospitalizations 1-2 weeks ago. The death number any given day could also be from days or weeks prior too depending on how they’re counted.

Texas counts from death certificates and by state law, they have I believe 10 days to file the certificate meaning a death count one day could have deaths that occurred up to 10 days prior.

Deaths reflect things that happened weeks ago. Why can’t you get this?

You are so full of shite.

Is the information provided by OP not facts?

You are such a dishonest hack. You think people are real stupid don't you?

Just fyi, it's super easy to see through your spin. Nobody is buying your take. We all know deaths lag hospitalizations and cases. If hospitalizations are going down so will deaths in the near future.

Death numbers always lag behind by a week or two because it takes time for people to die who were infected weeks ago.

The good news is that you can expect a fall in death rate 2-3 weeks after the beginning of the fall in hospitalizations and cases.

Don't worry. Democrats still control the top 12 states(Including DC) in per capita deaths. Florida remains 148 below the US average while many of those Dem run states are double or triple that average.
