It seems that those who have it all are worse off than many who struggle to have anything.

Material possessions do not bring happiness.
Think it’s been clearly shown in studies happiness as a function of salary tapers off after 70k a year and paradoxically actually starts to drop as you get really high
Our happiness comes meeting our basic needs and then from relationships with friends and family
