Dude told me like 3 weeks later.

Yeah, so I could talk to the cops and spare the young men. I'd at least have the cops scare them straight.

What if I use my AR-15 for hunting?

ETA: you didn't answer my question at the end. What is the difference between those rifles? Why should one be legal and the other be illegal?

It reminds me of that murder here in Jackson. An elderly woman was shot and killed her for her car I think in Belhaven. They found the two young men that did it and one of the perp's mother said, "Now, I ain't saying he won't rob nobody, but he ain't gon kill nobody."

The level of cringe...

Well if the alternative is Jackson

SD would be a paradise if it were independent of California.

I mean, I understand your point completely and even agree but, in our current America of constant government overreach and ridiculous criminally liable offenses, this one I am actually a little ok with.

Well no, they are dead, so he doesn't actually have to live with them.

she is a criminal and needs to go to jail...but first degree murder? come on, that's ridiculous.

What if the 3 accomplices hadn't been harmed, but they ended up killing the kid who lived in the house? Would your opinion be different then? After all, she didn't actually participate in the murder, but she still was the mastermind behind planning the burglary, being the getaway driver, and knew her friends were going into that house armed.

I'm sure his would be, yes. That would be murder.

I think his problem is the people that were killed were the perpetrators, and it isn't murder for the person that killed them, so why would it be murder for the co-conspirator?

very

that person is completely innocent...her friends are not, they knew what they were doing as much as she did...their deaths are not her responsibility

but she still was the mastermind behind planning the burglary
at that point it's not a burglary it's a murder

the 3 dead kids weren't murdered.

Because the person who killed them was acting in self defense and didn't break any laws. The co-conspirator assisted in the committing of the felony that resulted in 3 accomplices' deaths.

Why are you comparing kids spray painting your car to people breaking into someone's home?

Tell me how safe you would feel if those kids broke into your home instead of painted your car.

Tell me if you had a child or wife how safe you would feel.

There's a reason you're allowed to shoot home Intruders, and it has nothing to do with race and politics.

I'm sorry every time I hear that it sounds even more stupid.

So we need to charge a 21 year old girl with murder for being the getaway driver for a B&E? That's moronic

This is usually by prosecutor discretion.

In this case, she wasn't just the getaway driver. She planned the entire thing and it was to benefit her so she could pay her rent. And it was the second time that day they robbed that house. Both times were her idea and plan and her car that brought them there.

And she was the oldest one (21) and one of the people she convinced to do this that was killed was a minor.

I guess those stupidity genes are strong. I wonder if it skipped a generation or not. Granddad is dumb, grandson is dumb, mom or dad?
