Licensure is the mark of a professional.
It doesn't matter who does the work. The PE is the one taking the liability and approving it. The design is not complete without the stamp.
I don't see why so many people bitch about PE's when they can just take the stupid exam and get their own license....Unless you went to Southern and cannot pass the FE.

it is not uncommon for junior technical professionals to conduct all the grunt engineering and design work only for the PE to stamp the efforts.
That doesn't make what he said incorrect.

I'm starting to think that you really enjoy the type of abuse that only the ot can dish out.

My Loyola MBA was def easier than my LSU business undergrad. And it's full MBA not some abbreviated executive shite.
I'm not surprised to hear you experiencing similar things

You really do not need a PE unless the type of work you do requires it. Most EE and ME jobs do not need a PE except for stamping. Any speciality engineering (biomedical, Nanosystems) are more research oriented.

For me 25 or so years ago, grad school was WAY easier than undergrad.
BS = bullshite
MS = More shite
PHD = Piled High & Deep
Seriously, it was easier.
